It’s an interstate rivalry! Two of the best swing bands – a total of 22 musicians – will be competing head-to-head: Detroit’s Paul King and the Rhythm Society Orchestra vs. Pittsburgh’s Boilermaker Jazz Band Saturday, FEBRUARY 23 7 p.m. to 1 a.m., $22 Add $5 for swing lesson 7 to 8 p.m. In Detroit, Mich., on the 5,000 square-foot dance floor of the fabulous Masonic Temple Crystal Ballroom Can’t dance? No problem – many who attend have never danced but enjoy the sights and sounds! All ages, all dancers and non-dancers welcome!
