Clarkston Arts presents the Battle of the Bands / BIG 3 Swing Dance

Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the Masonic Temple , Crystal Ballroom in Detroit, MI.

​

All proceeds from this event will go towards the Erin Modrzynski scholarship fund which supports young aspiring artists.

Featuring first time challenger Stardusters Big Band vs Eight-time Battle of the Bands winner, Paul King & the Rhythm Society Orchestra.

​

Dancers of all skill levels are welcome to the 23rd year of swing dancing. Many come just to enjoy the sights and sounds. Dress is snappy casual to semi-formal or vintage attire.

General admission begins at 6:30 p.m. with a dance lesson from 7 to 8:pm. The band will hit the stage at 8:15 p.m. and perform until midnight. There is a cash bar available throughout the evening with a 50/50 raffle pot opportunity.

This in-person event promises to be an unforgettable night filled with electrifying performances and infectious swing rhythms.

​

Tickets are $30 per person in advance or at the door.

Add $5 for the optional lesson.

​

Tables of eight may be reserved in advance at no additional charge.
